Theatre for All Children
In 2019 Queens Theatre designed and implemented a theatre program inclusive of children with disabilities with funding by The Pierre and Tana Matisse Foundation. It is now a year-round program, reaching more than 500 middle school students. We have partnered with Riverview School, a District 75 school located at various sites around Queens, and the Lexington School for the Deaf. We also provide professional development workshops for teaching artists and schoolteachers, focused on inclusive training.
