A free day of music and wonder for our youngest audiences. Queens Theatre is thrilled to welcome WQXR’s Classical Kids Fair for its fifth year. Families can enjoy live performances, instrument discovery stations, dance and songwriting workshops, musical arts & crafts, and more — sparking a lifelong love of music in the heart of the World’s Borough.

Participating partners include the Queens Symphony Woodwind Quintet, performing a family-friendly abbreviated version of Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf; trumpeter Alphonso Horne and his band representing Louis Armstrong House Museum; Spanish-English musical duo Musiquita; the Alegria Ensemble; and musicians from Son Pecadores, who will present an interactive program centered around son jarocho, a form of traditional Mexican folk music.
