Queens Theatre in the Park is a tax exempt, not for profit organization, funded in part by the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs; Speaker Christine Quinn and The Council of the City of New York; Helen Marshall, Borough President of Queens; and the Queens Delegation of the New York State Legislature, with additional funding provided by Assembly members Jeffrion Aubry, Ann-Margaret Carrozza, Michael N. Gianaris, Andrew Hevesi, Deputy Speaker Ivan C. Lafayette, Rory Lancman, Nettie Mayersohn, Catherine Nolan, Audrey I. Pheffer and Ellen Young.  Additional support for children, youth and family programs has been provided by State Senator Serphin R. Maltese and additional support for performing arts programs has been provided by State Senators Frank Padavan and Malcolm A. Smith.  Additional operating support has been provided by Deputy Speaker Ivan C. Lafayette.    Queens Theatre in the Park is a participant in the Cultural After School Adventures (CASA) Program in 2007/2008. We thank Speaker Christine C.Quinn, Council Member Domenic M. Recchia, Jr., along with Council Members  Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr., Tony Avella, Leroy Comrie, Jr.,  Dennis P. Gallagher, James F. Gennaro, Eric N. Gioia, Melinda R. Katz, John C.
